Cancellation of Entries/Pens - The closing date for cancellations of an entry is 25th April. A refund, minus a £5 administration fee, will be available up until these dates.
To be eligible for a caravan an exhibitor must have a minimum of 3 entries in the sheep section or 1 if competing in cattle or heavy horse sections.
An exhibitor can swap membership tickets for livestock member wristbands which will also enable the member to access the normal member privileges.

Dogs are permitted on the understanding that:
- They will be kept on a short lead and under control at all times;
- Owners will clean up after them;
- With the exception of assistance-dogs, they are not permitted in areas densely populated by people, used for catering or in which animals are contained, including but not limited to: standing galleries, seating decks, grandstands, exhibition halls, marquees, tents or buildings.
Competitions FAQ's
All dairy products to be delivered between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs on Tuesday 17th June 2025 ONLY. If this is not possible please contact the competitions team. Milk exhibits may be delivered on Wednesday 18 June.
Any consignment being sent unaccompanied, should be clearly marked as being for the attention of Competitions Department, Scottish Dairy Championships, Food for Thought , Royal Highland Show, Edinburgh EH28 8NB.
All exhibits must be delivered no later than 1100hrs on Wednesday 18 June to the Honey Marquee. When dropping off please enter through the west car park and make your way to the west gate for drop off.
Exhibits should be collected between 1830hrs and 2100hrs on Sunday 22 June when access is easier, alternatively on Monday 23 June from 0700hrs to 1400hrs.
By Post: Exhibits for the Handcrafts Competition can be sent by post as from Monday 30th May, to allow for slow parcel service. Sufficiently strong packaging needs to be used, to enable return by post. It is the exhibitors responsibility to ensure sufficiently strong packaging is used.
In Person: THE HANDCRAFTS JUDING WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE HIGHLAND HALL NEAR THE NORTH ENTRANCE. Details will be sent along with the mailing of exhibit labels in May. Submission / delivery of exhibits is strictly on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June between 1200 and 1700. Other exhibits received in the Showground after this, will be excluded from the competition. Competition organisers will not collect exhibits from courier depots.
In person: Exhibitors are responsible for retrieval of their exhibits on Sunday 23rd June from 1630hrs onwards or Monday 24th June between 1200hrs and 1500hrs, at the Handcrafts Exhibition Space in the Home and Gift Hall located on 13th Avenue.
Return by post: All exhibits, required to be posted back, will be collected by Royal Mail Courier Service (arranged by RHASS) post show. Payment for this will be required to be made online at the time of making entries.
