TRAVELLING BY BUS & TRAM - RHS
Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams will be running services direct from Edinburgh to the Royal Highland Show.
Lothian Buses run two Show services the 98 service and the 97 service that will both take you directly to the East Entrance of the Show.
Edinburgh Trams take you all the way from Leith to Ingliston Park and Ride, where you can hop on the shuttle bus to the East Entrance of the Royal Highland Show. Trams run from every 7 minutes.

TRAVELLING BY CAR
Please make sure that you have booked your car parking in advance of travelling to the Show. All parking must be purchased in advance. You will be turned away if you do not have a parking ticket. Tickets can be bought here alongside entry tickets.
We have two visitor car parks, one in the East and another in the West. If you have tickets for the Royal Highland Hoolie, please make sure that you park in the West Car Park. Signage and stewards will be on hand to help direct you!
There is forward car parking in each car park reserved for blue badge holders only. Make sure you have your Local Authority Disabled Badged displayed as you approach the car park and follow the signage.
ROAD CLOSURES
Please note, there will be road closures and changes in road layouts on approach to the Royal Highland Show throughout the four days. We highly recommend you use public transport to get to the event. However, if you plan on driving, please plan your journey in advance and leave in plenty of time.
The event starts on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st June. Gates open at 18:00, last entry is at 20:30 and the concert will finish at 22:30. Access to the Hoolie is via the West entrance.

Car Park
Please park in the West Car Park if you plan to attend the Royal Highland Hoolie. The car park is across the road from the West Entrance and is located on grass. You will be able to see the West Entrance from the car park. The walkway is on grass and uneven track road.
Taxi Drop Off/Pick Up Point
There is a taxi drop off/pick up point at the West Car Park for the Hoolie, please follow the relevant signage.

Get a single-day return tram ticket to the Royal Highland Show at the Royal Highland Centre. Just hop on at any stop along the route and alight at Ingliston Park & Ride.

Get a single-day return travel ticket to the Royal Highland Show. Hop on at any stops along the route, with the drop-off being on the A8 just outside the Royal Highland Centre.
If you’re planning to drive to the show you MUST buy your parking tickets in advance. Any cars without advance car parking tickets will not be able to park on site and will be turned away.
Please buy your tickets here in advance to avoid disappointment.
